How It All Started
Buildup Impact Foundation was born from a simple but urgent belief — that young people, small businesses, and underserved communities deserve better access to opportunities. What began as a small volunteer-driven effort to support students and local entrepreneurs has evolved into a structured movement focused on empowerment, innovation, and community growth. Today, our programs continue to expand, driven by a passion to help people build better futures for themselves and those around them.
At the heart of our journey is a commitment to innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship. We believe these three pillars shape thriving societies, so we design programs that inspire creative thinking, build strong leaders, and equip entrepreneurs with the skills to grow sustainable ventures. Through workshops, community challenges, digital learning, and mentorship, we nurture a new generation of solution-driven changemakers who are ready to lead, build, and transform their communities.

To drive our mission forward, BuildUp Impact Foundation operates its flagship youth and enterprise development arm — BuildUp Network. This is the platform through which we deliver high-impact programs, events, and growth opportunities for young people, startups, and SMEs across Africa.
